Klean-Pik 500SC is used for removal of leaves prior to harvesting. Klean-Pik 500SC disperses easily in water and can be used in any ground and aircraft equipment. It may take several days before the effect of Klean-Pik 500SC becomes noticeable. Adverse conditions, such as low temperatures, may require higher dosages and/or longer times for more complete defoliation. Klean-Pik 500SC inhibits regrowth after defoliation and thus reduces staining of lint during harvesting and ginning.
